A Red Sour Beer Aged in Oak Barrels with Cabernet Franc Pomace
”Scarlet, frankly, let’s just give it a couple more years!”
This beer began life in early 2022 as a Flemish style red sour brewed with rye malt, and was aged on a nearly 1:1 ratio of Cabernet Franc wine grape pomace from our friends at KIN Vineyards for 20 further months. The extended aging allowed ample time for the tannins to soften and lovely winelike flavours to evolve.
