What is black IPA you might ask? It is a West-Coast IPA made with a special dehusked roasted barley that adds colour and a smooth coffee/chocolate note. We add a touch of caramel malt for sweetness and then ferment with a neutral American yeast, and add a classic combo of Simcoe and Centennial for notes of red grapefruit peel, pine resin, and orange zest.
