This is our first dive into extended bottle conditioning. Packaged in May 2020 after spending 1 year in wine barrels this beer had a long slow maturation in bottle to be released for the coming strawberry and rhubarb season. The nose is bright rhubarb and acidity with gentle strawberry in the background. On the palette we get rhubarb and acidity up front followed by a light dry bitterness and strawberry. Hints on orange zest, pie crust and lemon curd round out the background.
