To celebrate Merit's fifth anniversary, we collaborated (via the interwebs) with our friends at 2 Crows Brewing Co. from beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia to brew a lager that captures the essence of our retrospective locales with a nod to our love for the East Coast. Ocean Meets The Land is brewed using malt from Shoreline Malting in Prince Edward Island and dulse, a dark red seaweed popular on the Atlantic coast as a snack food and in cooking. The end resukt is a crisp, golden lager with a gentle hint of ocean breeze perfect for the patio - the only thing missing is a donair and garlic fingers!
